Over the last few weeks, we have had several requests asking our opinions on upright luggage that is both affordable and of high quality. While this isn’t always an easy combination, we have found some really good bargains that we think people will truly appreciate.

Keep in mind that these are just a few of the deals you can find out there. By no means are we suggesting these recommendations are anything but a nice solid deal. Here is what we found:

Annika 27″ Expandable (Liz Claiborne) – this upright luggage piece is part of the Annika collection, which combines both luxury and style. It has enough space to accommodate a week long trip and features water resistant plaid fabric and quiet, smooth rolling wheels. It generally cost around $90.

SwissGear 21″ Upright Suitcase – another high quality brand name that you can trust. The main compartment is very roomy and has a separate shoe pocket as well. The outside contains 3 extra pockets. While this luggage is a little plain, it does come in a variety of different colors. It sells for about $90.

JanSport Upright Carry On Luggage – if you are looking for a light, upright carry on, this could be your ideal piece. It doesn’t have many bells and whistles, with just two pockets, but it is extremely durable and actually quite easy to roll through the airport.
